   Student Artists Exhibit for FREE on CompelloArt.com


With the summer exhibition season coming to an end, two online galleries are teaming up to inspire both professional and amateur artists alike over the coming winter months and on into next year.

The project will see hundreds of pieces of work from CompelloArt.com be judged across a broad and varied range of disciplines to be chosen to feature on the Saatchi Gallery Online website and if successful ultimately go forward to a public vote to be selected as part of the Saatchi SHOWDOWN competition to Exhibit in the new Saatchi Gallery.

The project which is a partnership between Compello Art and Saatchi Gallery Online will be making the first selections from the 30th of November, so there is plenty of time for artists to enter and it couldn’t be simpler. All that is required is that you register with the compelloart.com website.

If you are already a member of compelloart.com then its even easier. Just ensure your best work is available on the site and your profiles are as up to date as possible.
The selection from CompelloArt.com exhibiters will be run every 3 months and be made under the following categories

The Saatchi Category: Chosen to reflect the styles and tastes of Saatchi

All Art Category: Fine Art to Sculpture including digital artwork

Photography: Monochrome and Colour Photography

1 Winner and 9 runners up from each category will have their profile placed on the Saatchi Gallery Online site with their winning piece, the Saatchi Gallery on line magazine and placed in the Saatchi Gallery Online Congratulations box. A winner from each category will be selected and will then go on to be included in the Saatchi Showdown competition .

HOW TO EXHIBIT FOR FREE

Once registered using the promotional code they will be able to take advantage of all of the below and exhibit your work through the site for FREE.

· Exhibit along side commercial artists with no indication of their student status
· Sell your work through the website at a very low rate of commission
· Have access to a specific section with information and articles specifically aimed at student artists.
· All students exhibiting on the site will be entered in to the running to be chosen to exhibit at the London international launch of the website later this year.
· All Exhibitors could be chosen by the Saatchi Gallery to feature on the website as a featured artist helping to raise their profile
